Pat's Blog

My first video

Hi folks. Thanks to my mate Bobby Graham, I now have my first locally produced video. This can be viewed in HD.  The footage was taken at our May get together at The Pat James and Friends club in Norwich.  Lots more footage was taken and I should be putting more movies on soon.   xx

This video and others can be viewed on my music page

Thanks to guest singer/guitarist Graham Johns who did a couple of great sets for us. Well done Graham, they loved you, especially Running Bear. Pleased also that we had an attendance of over 100 yet again for what is proving to be a very popular monthly event.  Thank you so much for your support.

Silver Rooms Day Centre

Just done probably my final gig for some great people at The Silver Rooms Day Care Centre in Norwich. Sadly, it seems that its days are numbered now for this purpose and our senior citizens are having to find alternative places.  I do hope this wonderful building can be retained for community use and it can once more be used as a day centre.  Are there any Bankers or other simularly rich people out there who would like to donate some of their considerable bonuses in trying to keep these valuable places open?.  I can guarantee great publicity for you.  Pictures of some staff and users of the Silver Rooms are now on the Sheltered Housing Tab in my Picture Gallery.

Jim Reeves

Just put a great video of Jim Reeves on my Music tab.  Discovered this on Youtube.  Enjoy!

Lakeside Country Music Club

My first gig back after this bug that laid me low recently was at The Lakeside Country Music Club at Leziate Park nr Gayton, Kings Lynn.  Enjoyed meeting up with Denny Gray and Joan from Peterborough and making new friends at this lovely club. I was very impressed with the venue which is a really well designed building suitable for hosting all sorts of events. Very cosy, clean and certainly ideal for a country music venue. Had a great night with some smashing people and my thanks to Jennie for booking me.  I have been invited back to do another gig on Tuesday September 18th.  Do try to to support this weekly Country Music event, especially if you live in the Kings Lynn, Dereham or Swaffham area. A good night out in good company and great venue.  Jennie can be reached on 01553 630788 for more info on club dates, Performers, directions, ect.

So sorry to miss my own club event at Pat James and friends club on Sunday 15th April and I have just pulled out of my gig at The Jukebox Club in Norwich for Sunday 22nd April, owing to a heavy cold and throat infection.  (probably Man Flu) a lot worse than the kind women get.  Started last Saturday at Fakenham Community Centre, and only just managed to get through the night.   Never mind, hope to be back to full fitness soon, without antibiotics.   See you soon  xx    "All you need is Love"
