East Winch Jennys Club

A really good turnout last week for Jennys Club at East Winch nr Kings Lynn

Fun Halloween night as well.   Pleasing to see this club now doing well as it seemed to be struggling for support earlier this year. A really lovely atmosphere with lots of lovely people.  Big thank you to Jenny and her helpers for keeping it going and now with increasing numbers coming along.

Good night at Bruisyard Village Hall

Always have a problem finding this place even with a sat nav (and I don't mean the wife).  Got lost again but managed to get started at 8pm and finished at 11.30pm.  Well attended gig and a crowd who seemed to enjoy a few sixties as well as country music.   Thanks to Grace and to Theresa and John for booking me.  Look forward to hearing from them for another date sometime.  For the record, it is wise to look for Rendham Road, Bruisyard when programming a Sat Nav for this venue. Nice day at Bobby Grahams Club, The Wensum Valley Music Club on Sunday 22nd Oct as well. with Bobby, Myself and a guest spot from a Frank Sinatra tribute act.

Lots looking to come along next Saturday night to The Rosary Club in Ipswich which is the new venue for The Orwell Country Music Club.   Look forward to seeing them all there plus of course organisers Roger and Pearl.

Coming up in September

Saturday 16th September sees me back at Beccles Conservative Club  2 London Rd. NR34 9TZ starting at 8pm.  I understand Fish and Chips are being served before the gig, so do ring them if you wish to go along to check on entry details.  Tel    Janet Forster.   01502 713535

Then on Wednesday 20th, its back to Tivetshall Railway Public House.  9pm start til midnight, this is always worth a visit. Good landlord in Chris and a friendly crowd.

Lovely venue.

On Saturday 30th , I will be doing a Country Music event at the Royal British Legion ,  London Rd, Brandon in Suffolk.   Most people will be dressing up in Country music outfits, so expect a few cowboys and indians as well as one or two bar girls with the garters.   Just a few places left, so if you want to go, please contact Lorraine  very soon.  Just £5 entry. There will be a raffle and all proceeds from the evening will be going to St Nicholas Hospice, Brandon.
